How LeLaboDigital Digitized the Mount Lebanon Dreamers League
From Matchday Administration to a Connected Football Ecosystem
In May 2026, the Mount Lebanon Dreamers League launched a new chapter for youth football in Lebanon—not only on the pitch, but also online.
As the competition expanded across academies, teams, players and age groups, its organizers needed a technology partner capable of digitizing the operational work behind every fixture. The objective was to create a reliable system for officials while giving players, academies, families and supporters a clear destination for following the league.
LeLaboDigital joined the initiative as both Title Sponsor and Technology Partner, combining sponsorship with hands-on digital transformation. Our team designed, developed and deployed MLDL Official, a custom football league management platform that brings competition administration, match data, player recognition, academy visibility and public engagement into one connected environment.
The outcome is more than a league website. It is the digital infrastructure supporting how the competition operates, publishes information and grows its audience.
The Client: Mount Lebanon Dreamers League
The Mount Lebanon Dreamers League is a youth football competition connecting academies and young players across Mount Lebanon and other Lebanese communities. Its 2026 season includes multiple boys’ age categories and a dedicated girls’ division.
The public platform currently brings together:
- 29 participating academies
- More than 1,000 registered young players
- 10 football divisions and age groups
- Fixtures, results and competition statistics generated from live match data
- More than 300 daily active users during active competition periods
These figures continue to grow as new fixtures are played and competition data is recorded.
The Challenge: Coordinating a Multi-Division Youth Football Competition
Managing a football league involves far more than announcing a schedule. Every match can affect team standings, player statistics, goal rankings, disciplinary records and the information shown to the public.
MLDL officials needed to coordinate:
- Academies, squads, players and registrations
- Multiple football age groups and divisions
- Venues, referees and match schedules
- Fixtures, match status and final results
- Goals, scorers, MVP selections and appearances
- Team standings and performance rankings
- Disciplinary information and official documents
- Sponsor information, notifications and reports
Without a centralized system, this work can become fragmented across spreadsheets, messaging applications, documents and separate social-media updates. That increases repetitive data entry, slows down publishing and makes it harder to maintain one accurate version of the competition.
The public experience presented another challenge. Families, supporters and academy communities needed a dependable source for fixtures, results and rankings, while young footballers deserved more consistent recognition for their performances.
With the season approaching, LeLaboDigital also had to deliver on an accelerated schedule. The core production platform was operational approximately one week before launch, giving officials time to prepare the competition environment before the first matchdays.
The Solution: A Football League Management Platform Built Around Real Operations
LeLaboDigital approached MLDL Official as an operational product rather than a standard informational website.
The solution consists of two closely connected layers:
- A public football portal where the community can follow the league.
- A secure, fully customizable CMS where authorized officials can manage competition operations.
Both layers use a centralized data model. When an official records a result, goal or MVP selection, the information can update the relevant fixture, player profile, academy record, standings table and ranking page. This reduces duplicate work and helps ensure that public information remains aligned with official match data.
A Public Digital Home for the Football Community
Fixtures and Results Across Every Division
The platform gives players, parents, academies, and supporters one place to follow recent results and upcoming fixtures across every age category.
More importantly, every match update connects to the wider competition. Results power standings, goals feed player rankings, and match data strengthens the overall accuracy and visibility of the league.
Live Standings and Team Form
MLDL Official provides clear, always-updated standings for every division, including points, goal difference, and recent form.
This removes the need for manual tracking and gives the league a more reliable and professional competition structure.
Top Scorers, MVPs and Player Recognition
MLDL Official turns match data into greater visibility for young players. Top-scorer tables and MVP leaderboards allow families, academies and supporters to follow individual performance throughout the season.
Player achievements are connected to their academy and division, creating an evolving digital record of participation and performance. This adds recognition beyond the final score and gives the competition more stories to share after every matchday.
Attacking and Defensive Team Rankings
Additional rankings, such as most goals scored and least goals conceded, make league data more engaging and easier to follow.
These views highlight team identity, performance trends, and competitive progress across the season.
Academy Profiles, Squads and Players
Each participating academy can be represented through a dedicated profile showing its squads, age groups, and players.
This gives the league a more structured digital presence while also helping academies gain stronger exposure within the football community.
Structured Information Designed for Discovery
Fixtures, standings, academy pages, and player rankings are all organized into clear connected destinations.
This improves the user experience while also helping the league build a stronger digital footprint that is easier to discover, navigate, and grow over time.
Sponsor Visibility Beyond Event Day
As Title Sponsor and Technology Partner, LeLaboDigital helped extend sponsor value beyond the pitch.
With dedicated sponsor placement and structured partner visibility across the platform, MLDL can create ongoing exposure for supporting brands throughout the season, not only on matchday.
A Fully Customizable CMS for League Officials
Behind the public experience, LeLaboDigital developed a secure competition management system tailored to MLDL’s workflows.
Depending on their assigned role, officials can manage or monitor:
- Academies, teams, squads and age groups
- Players, registrations and squad assignments
- Fixtures, venues, referees and match status
- Results, goals, scorers, appearances and MVPs
- Standings, form and team performance data
- Disciplinary records and match documentation
- Sponsors and public-facing content
- Notifications, documents and operational reports
Role-based workflows allow different officials to focus on their responsibilities without receiving unrestricted access to the entire system. Auditability and user activity controls improve accountability, while centralized dashboards help organizers monitor several divisions and events at the same time.
The result is a faster matchday workflow and a more consistent flow of information from officials to the public.
Technology, Performance and Scalability
MLDL Official was built as a modern digital platform designed for reliability, speed, and future growth.
Scalable Foundation
Built with Next.js, React, Tailwind CSS, and PostgreSQL, the platform runs on a cloud architecture designed to support both current league activity and future expansion.
Performance and Reliability
The infrastructure is optimized for speed and stability using Google Cloud scaling pods, load balancing, Redis caching, Cloudflare CDN, and Cloudflare R2 image storage, helping the platform stay fast even during periods of heavier traffic.
Security and Access Control
The system includes role-based authentication, MFA, audit logs, WAF protection, SSL/TLS encryption, zone lockdown, rate limiting, AI crawler protection, and hourly backups with 30-day retention, giving league officials a secure environment to manage operations.
Monitoring and Stability
With New Relic and Sentry, the platform benefits from real-time performance monitoring, error tracking, and faster issue detection.
Built for What Comes Next
The architecture is ready to scale beyond the current web platform into mobile applications, deeper automation workflows, and AI-powered operations.
As sports organizations grow, this foundation can support AI agents and automation tools for tasks such as:
- match data validation
- results publishing
- notifications and reminders
- reporting and summaries
- registration workflows
- sponsor and content updates
- operational support at larger league scale
This makes the platform not only scalable in traffic, but also scalable in how league operations can be automated over time.
Security Built for a Platform Managing Youth Sports Data
Because the platform manages operational records involving academies and young players, security was treated as a core product requirement.
The implemented security measures include:
- Role-based access control
- Multi-factor authentication
- Audit logs and user activity tracking
- Login monitoring and rate limiting
- Administrative zone lockdown
- Cloudflare Web Application Firewall protection
- Controls against excessive automated and AI crawler traffic
- Automated hourly backups retained for 30 days
- Application and infrastructure monitoring through Sentry and New Relic
These controls help protect administrative functionality, reduce unauthorized access and give the technical team greater visibility into performance or security issues.
The Impact
One Source of Truth for the Competition
MLDL officials can work from one centralized environment rather than maintaining disconnected records across several tools. Fixtures, results, players, standings and performance data remain linked throughout the platform.
Faster, Smoother Matchday Operations
Structured workflows reduce repetitive administration and help officials process updates while multiple matches and divisions are active. Information can move from the pitch to the public portal with fewer manual steps.
More Visibility for Players and Academies
Scorer rankings, MVP selections, team statistics, academy profiles and player listings create more opportunities to recognize young footballers and the academies developing them.
Strong Early Digital Engagement
Early Google Analytics data indicates more than 300 daily active users during the active competition period. This demonstrates the demand for a central destination where families and supporters can track fixtures, results and league progress.
Greater Value for Sponsors and Partners
The platform extends sponsorship exposure throughout the season. Dedicated sponsor sections and recurring digital visibility complement matchday branding and strengthen the commercial value of supporting the league.
A Reusable Data Foundation
The league is now building structured historical data that can support future seasons, deeper analytics, notifications, richer player profiles, digital registration and mobile experiences.
Partnership in Action
LeLaboDigital’s role in MLDL went beyond that of an external software supplier. As Title Sponsor and Technology Partner, we worked alongside the organizers to translate real football operations into a practical digital product and continued supporting the platform as competition data and public usage increased.

Ready for the Next Season—and the Next Product
MLDL Official was designed as a long-term digital foundation rather than a one-season website. Its centralized data structure and scalable cloud architecture provide a clear path toward:
- Dedicated iOS and Android applications
- Push notifications for fixtures, results, and announcements
- Digital academy and player registration
- Historical season archives
- Live match events and richer player statistics
- Advanced competition and performance analytics
- Expanded sponsor experiences and media integrations
- AI-powered reporting, content generation, and operational insights
- Automated workflows for registrations, approvals, notifications, and match updates
- Intelligent agents that can validate data, publish results, generate summaries, answer operational questions, and coordinate repetitive administrative tasks
As the league adds more academies, divisions, competitions, and digital services, AI agents could help officials manage a larger volume of activity without increasing manual workload at the same rate.
The same foundation can therefore scale in two ways: technically, by supporting more users and products, and operationally, by using automation and intelligent agents to make league management faster, more consistent, and easier to control.
